Custom Wheel Artwork Requirements

Acceptable file formats: Illustrator (.ai), Illustrator EPS (.eps),
Photoshop EPS (.eps), InDesign (.indd) and .pdf

CMYK process color files are acceptable. Please convert all
spot colors accordingly.

Files Created Using Illustrator

• All text/fonts must be converted to outlines. To do so, select all text in your design and go to
  Type<Create Outlines. This will convert all fonts into outlines. Once this is done, however, your
  text will not be editable.
• All embedded artwork (work pasted or placed and not created in Illustrator) must be sent along with your .eps or .ai file.
• Please stuff or zip your files to avoid file corruption before emailing or uploading.

Files Created Using Photoshop

• Flatten your file and save as a cmyk Photoshop EPS.
• Make sure that your file is at least 300 dpi resolution at 100% print size to ensure high quality printing. This means that any images you place into your designs must be 300 dpi at the intended print size as well to ensure high resolution printing.
• NOTE ON RESOLUTION: To make sure that your design is a good resolution, try printing a section of it on your home or office computer. If it looks pixilated then, it’ll be pixilated when we print it, too.
• Please stuff or zip your files to avoid file corruption before emailing or uploading.

Files Created Using InDesign

• All text must be converted to outlines.
• All embedded artwork must be sent along with your .indd file. To collect your files, go to File<Package and make sure that you select all fonts, images and files to collect and send to us to use.

Files Turned into PDFs

• Regardless of what file your design originated from, be sure that your PDF is set to the highest possible output with bleed included.
• NOTE: We suggest that you do not use Microsoft products to create your design files, even if you plan to supply us with a pdf. All Microsoft product, while great for making charts and graphs, create unpredictable colors and image resolution in the best of conditions.

Note: PROOFREAD! Once you have uploaded your file(s) and let us know, changes to artwork and text cannot be made without additional fees. Be sure to proofread any artwork we create and send to you for review. We will begin the production immediately upon approval and are not responsible for any additional changes. There will be additional charges if changes are required by the customer after production begins.

UPLOADING FILES/ARTWORK

• When placing an order, you may submit art under 5 MB to customerservice@prize-wheel.com (Who will this go to?) with the customer name or purchase order # in the subject line. Please stuff or zip your artwork before emailing to avoid corrupting the files
• For larger files, we have an Online File Folder that is quick and easy to use. You will need to contact us (email or phone) to get the username and password necessary to log in and upload your files. Once you receive the username and password, you can login and upload your files at www.OnlineFileFolder.com.
